ANAMED wurde 1986 in einem Urwalddorf des Zaire durch den Apotheker Dr. Hans-Martin Hirt und einheimische Heilkundige gegründet mit dem Ziel der eigenverantwortlichen Gesundheits- und Nahrungsvorsorge in den Tropen : “Vor Ort vorhandene Mittel und Fähigkeiten zum Überleben!”
Founded in 1986 in a jungle village in Zaire by the pharmacist Dr. Hans-Martin Hirt and local healers, doctors and nurses with the aim of self-responsible health and nutritional care in the tropics: “Locally available resources and skills to survive!”

Dienstleistung für örtliche Mitarbeitende im Gesundheitswesen und für kirchliche und andere nachhaltig orientierte NON PROFIT Organisationen der Entwicklungshilfe : Gewinnung neuer Erkenntnisse und deren Vermittlung in Seminaren und mittels Lehrmaterialien: Begleitung, Supervision und Evaluation.
Dies geschieht auf der Grundlage der Bibel gemäß dem Auftrag "Gebt Ihr Ihnen zu essen!" (Matth. 14,16) - auch Heilpflanzen, die in den Tropen besonders reichlich vorhanden sind. Diese Heilpflanzen sind eine Gottesgabe, und keine Zauberei oder Mittel zur Gewinnung von Ansehen, des Profit- oder des Machtstrebens!
Service for local health care workers and for clerical and other NON PROFIT organizations focused on sustainability of development assistance: acquisition of new knowledge and its placement in seminars and through teaching materials: support, supervision and evaluation.
This is done on the basis of the Bible according to the order, "Give you them to eat!" (Matth. 14,16) - includes medical plants, which are particularly abundant in the tropics. These are a gift from God and not magic or a means of obtaining prestige, the profit or the desire for power!
