In Angola anamed is making good progress.

In 2007 a training seminar was conducted in Huambo, and in 2008 in Kuito.

The participants of the seminars came from many different parts of the country. In Kuito, the anamed programme has been warmly welcomed by the local authorities and the hospital staff.

In February 2010 a group of the seminar participants were given a piece of land outside of the town for a training centre for Natural Medicine Practitioners. They make the anamed ointments and medicinal oils and take them to the villages in the area. anamed remedies are in great demand, so these products sell very quickly. It is proposed to establish an anamed garden and to provide further training for people in how to promote anamed teaching in a responsible way, such that the whole community benefits.
