There is a growing interest in anamed in the UK. A residential weekend was held in May 2012, and day seminars or evening meetings have been held in Oxford, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Liverpool.

Weekend seminars with the title
“The Use of Medicinal Plants in the Tropics”
were held in May 2012, January 2008 and September 2005. The leaders were Merlin Willcox, Simon Challand, Pamela Spence and Keith Lindsey.
22 people took part in a residential weekend from 25-27 January 2008 at the Barnes Close Centre near Bromsgrove. Sessions included the use of herbal remedies to treat malaria, and experiences of creating a herbal pharmacy in Mali.
